This is the final song of my recent non-lexical vocables era. I thought the initial concept was very catchy, and told myself I absolutely have to use this idea. It was written with barre chords and a bassline in the guitar part. On June 1st I will be releasing a remastered EP. This collection marks the start of a new, more sophisticated era for Reenchantment and the Paramusicology record label.

Project Description

Reenchantment, an independent hypnotic rock and metal solo project lead by multi-instrumentalist Victor Fisher, is seeking a strategic industry partner to co-produce and release an ambitious double album. This is one of the best examples of my acoustic rock songwriting. The Mermaid Version ended up capturing my sound in the most accurate way, although the last minute of the Pilgrimage Version is also interesting because is revealed how Aaron and I would sound with a more radio friendly approach. I did struggle with my vocals on that day though.

The song discusses the way we are unconsciously shaped by social conditioning.
