Lyrics

I can’t prove that I have the correct perspective
Everything that I’m doing could be wrong
All the thoughts in my mind may be deceiving
And my time on this earth may not be long

We have lost everything that we could believe in
Sold it all for illusion of control
Through the years I was searching for an answer
And in the darkness, I have heard the call

Lyrics

I cannot continue on without you
Though I many not even know
Who you are
The void forms in an empty place
Through the heart
And I can’t even start to tell you how it feels

We were lost so far away, looking through the dark
That which unspeakable, may not be found
I’ll wonder anyway, for you and me
Someday I pray that you will see
And one day I pray that you will be there with me

Passageway, into the hidden the land
A secret monument, to mystic shadow chant
We cannot understand, the mark of misery
An omen from the sky, warning now all faith shall die

Green grass is growing
Wild forests are near

The secrets of nature
Expand my mind
And all the haters
They must be blind
They’re blind

Lyrics

Did the wise men know the truth about this world
About this world of ours
That I find myself within
About this world of ours
That I am bound to dwell within

Is there a place for those who wish to know
For those of us who feel the dream
Or does it lie beyond the grave

Lyrics

Dr. Timothy Leary:
They came to Socrates and said
Stop saying that Socrates
You’re corrupting the mind of youth

There is no self
There is no knowledge
Obey
Believe

Socrates would not be stopped
He said know thyself
Operate your brain
